Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Eidos Research, LLC (“Eidos,” “we,” or “us”) handles when you visit eidosresearch.com (the “Site”) or contact us. The short version: the Site has no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal information.
Information we receive
When you email us. If you write to hello@eidosresearch.com, we receive your email address, name, and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply, to discuss a possible engagement, and to keep a record of our correspondence.
When you visit the Site. Like any website, the servers that deliver the Site receive technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. We do not use this information to identify you or build a profile of you.
Interactive experiment
The evidence-and-belief experiment runs in your browser. Its observations and choices are not sent to us or saved in browser storage. Reloading the page resets the experiment.
Cookies and tracking
The Site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tracking technologies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the Site and our business. Each receives only the information it needs to provide its service:
- Cloudflare hosts the Site and protects it from abuse. It processes request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and may keep limited logs for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts serves the Site's typefaces. Your browser requests the fonts directly from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information.
- Our email provider stores the messages you send us.
These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the relationship it relates to, or as needed to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, and then delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing hello@eidosresearch.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
International visitors
Eidos is based in the United States. Information you send us, and request data handled by our providers, may be processed in the United States and other countries where those providers operate.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Security
The Site is served only over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
