Brandon Stiles builds systems that make complex information usable.

Brandon Stiles is a New York City–based technologist and entrepreneur, CEO of Eidos Research, and CTO of AIQ Markets. His work spans language technology, structured domain knowledge, and the infrastructure through which financial markets operate.

At AIQ Markets, he leads engineering and product development for AIQ Insight, a natural language platform for U.S. corporate bond traders and portfolio managers. The product brings together market data, a specialized bond ontology, and evaluation methods to help users search, compare, and investigate opportunities. MarketAxess is piloting a version incorporating its proprietary data.

Previously, Brandon co-founded Convergence Foundation, where he helped build on-chain request-for-quote and OTC trading infrastructure for digital assets. That work connected software architecture with the practical requirements of market makers, liquidity providers, and trading counterparties.

His earlier work at Betterpath combined healthcare data infrastructure, language technology, and metaontology work. As co-founder and CTO, he led engineering for systems intended to make complex clinical information usable by software.

He studied at Boston University and played college rugby.

At Eidos Research, his focus is how people and institutions make decisions under uncertainty: how they interpret evidence, form judgments, and learn from outcomes.
